General Charter of Use

This charter explains how TSplus Academy collects, uses, stores and protects personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data controller

The data controller is [Dumont Chantal], operator of TSplus Academy. Questions relating to personal data may be submitted to [chantal.dumont at tsplus.net] or through the contact form available in the user profile. The TSplus Academy Manager acts as data protection contact.

Legal bases for processing (Article 6 of the GDPR)

Purpose | Legal basis

Managing your account, course access and training follow-up | Contract (Art. 6.1.b)

Platform security, fraud prevention and IP logging | Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f)

Retention of training records and supporting documents | Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c)

The legitimate interest pursued is the protection of the platform and user accounts against fraud and abuse. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest for reasons relating to your particular situation, unless compelling legitimate grounds prevail.

Data collected

The platform processes the following categories of data: identification data (username, last name, first name, email address); optional location details (city or town, country); connection data (IP address, login records); training activity and progress; quiz answers and results; certifications and digital badges; support requests; and your optional profile picture.

During registration, acceptance of this charter is required to create an account; your acceptance and its date are recorded.

Your profile picture is optional. It is used only to identify you within the platform and you may replace or remove it at any time from your profile.

TSplus Academy does not process special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR. Please do not upload sensitive data (health, political opinions, religious beliefs and similar) that is not necessary for your training.

The platform is intended for professionals; TSplus Academy does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 15.

Users are responsible for keeping their profile information accurate and up to date.

Recipients of the data

The platform database is not publicly accessible; access is restricted to authorised persons and to processors who require it for their duties. Personal data may be accessed by our hosting provider, acting as processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for advertising or commercial prospecting purposes.

Purposes of the processing

The data is used to manage accounts and course access, monitor training progress, issue and verify certifications and digital badges, provide learner support, secure the platform, prevent fraud and comply with applicable legal obligations. Since our courses are continuously updated, your data remains stored in the platform database so that your training history can be restored if you re-register later.

You remain responsible for the copyright of any images or documents you upload to your courses.

Data retention period

Personal data associated with an active account is retained for as long as the account remains active and for the period necessary to provide the training services.

After the account is closed, only data that must be retained to comply with applicable legal obligations, to establish proof of training or certification, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims is placed in restricted intermediate storage for the applicable retention period. Other personal data is deleted or anonymised.

Connection and activity logs are kept for up to three years. This duration is justified by their dual purpose: securing the platform and providing proof of completion of online training, in particular towards funding bodies. The detailed retention periods applicable to each category of data are documented in our internal records.

Your rights

Depending on the processing concerned and where applicable, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

You can exercise your rights through the contact form available in your profile or by contacting [chantal.dumont at tsplus.net]. Where necessary, TSplus Academy may request reasonable additional information to verify your identity.

Requests are processed without undue delay and, in principle, within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by up to two additional months where permitted by the GDPR, taking into account the complexity and number of requests; you will be informed of any extension within the initial one-month period. Erasure applies to all your data except data we are legally required to keep, which remains archived with restricted access until the end of the applicable retention period.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

Personal data breaches

All personal data breaches are documented internally. Where a breach is likely to result in a risk to individuals' rights and freedoms, it is notified to the CNIL without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours after TSplus Academy becomes aware of it. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk, the affected individuals are also informed without undue delay, unless an exception provided by the GDPR applies.

Your obligations and account security

Your IP address is recorded at each login and may be visible to the administrator when viewing the logs, including through the log analysis tools of our hosting provider.

Harassing, sexist, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise unlawful content is prohibited. Users must communicate respectfully with other users and platform staff.

Access to your training is strictly personal. Sharing your login credentials with third parties so that other persons can benefit from the training constitutes grounds for immediate termination of your access, without prejudice to any legal proceedings.

For technical support purposes only, the administrator and the platform manager may log in "as" your account for interventions or technical verifications. These interventions are logged and traceable.

Passwords are transmitted through an encrypted connection and stored in a securely hashed form. Administrators cannot retrieve or view users' passwords. If you lose your password, use the secure password reset procedure available on the login page or contact the platform administrator to receive a reset link.

Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

TSplus Academy uses artificial intelligence tools to assist with the creation, review, verification and maintenance of its training materials.

Artificial intelligence may be used to compare existing training courses with official technical documentation, product developments, new features and software changelogs. It may also assist with proofreading, translation, instructional design and the creation of illustrations and infographics.

All AI-assisted training content and AI-generated visuals are reviewed and approved by the TSplus Academy Manager before publication. Official TSplus documentation, validated changelogs and confirmed product information remain the authoritative sources.

AI-generated outputs are not considered authoritative technical sources. TSplus Academy is aware that artificial intelligence systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, fabricated or biased content. Any technical information suggested by artificial intelligence is therefore checked against official and validated sources before being included in training materials.

The TSplus Academy Manager has completed certified training covering the pedagogical and professional use of generative artificial intelligence, prompt engineering and AI-assisted data analysis. These skills are kept up to date through ongoing technical, pedagogical and regulatory monitoring related to artificial intelligence.

TSplus Academy does not submit learner personal data, authentication information, course activity data, assessment results, certification information or support requests containing personal data to generative artificial intelligence tools.

If information derived from the use of the platform were to be processed with the assistance of artificial intelligence, only data that have been effectively anonymised and aggregated so that no individual is identifiable or reasonably re-identifiable could be used.

These practices are implemented in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection requirements.

Artificial intelligence is not used to evaluate or grade learners, determine whether a learner has passed or failed an exercise, award or withdraw a certification or digital badge, control access to training, profile learners, or make or recommend decisions concerning them.

TSplus Academy does not currently provide learners with an artificial intelligence chatbot, virtual tutor or conversational assistant. If such a system were to be introduced, users would be clearly informed that they are interacting with an artificial intelligence system before the interaction begins.

AI-generated or manipulated content is disclosed where required by Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 or by any other applicable legislation. This includes AI-generated or manipulated visual, audio or video content, known as deep fakes, that could reasonably be mistaken for authentic content.

TSplus Academy performs the final human validation and assumes editorial responsibility for the content published on its training platform. Despite the verification procedures in place, errors or omissions may remain. They may be reported through the contact form available in the user profile so that they can be reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected.

TSplus Academy regularly reviews its use of artificial intelligence and may update this section to reflect changes in its tools, practices, training methods or applicable legislation.
